Please tune in live and hear some new music along with us !

New Downloads!

To be released on Bandcamp 23rd May 2025, significantly expanded versions of the RMI trilogy Eavesdropping, Threads and Still. The three albums were initially released together in 2013 and the session tapes have been revisited and restored for a Bandcamp edition featuring the equivalent of twelve discs of material.

Eavesdropping Expanded includes the issued album, three discs worth of the unedited sessions and a further two disc equivalent of remixed versions. For the first time the March 2010 sessions can be heard in full and continuously, as they were originally intended to be.

The second release Threads/Still Expanded gathers together a further six discs worth of material from the 2012 sessions from which the original albums were taken. As well as the albums in their original form, there are a further four discs of uncut and original material with several notable extended original takes which stand on their own when freed from the need to be edited into CD form.

As usual, they come with user friendly 'roll your own' colour CD artwork and are downloadable in all the usual file formats.

New Cuneiform album release date confirmed and November concert in Saltburn, UK

The new album recorded for Cuneiform Records, Galactic Furnace, will be released on October 25th 2024, and will be available for pre-order shortly. To tie in with this RMI will play a homecoming concert in Teesside at the Saltburn Arts Centre alongside longstanding friend and musical associate Mark Spybey's outfit Dead Voices On Air: Dadu. Steve Dinsdale will also be guesting as a member of Dadu at this concert. See poster below for ticket details. Saltburn is a lovely seaside location to visit, so we strongly recommend making a weekend of it. The venue is a short walk from the train station. It will be the first time RMI have played in the area they grew up in since their formative years in teenage bands!

Damo

We want to offer our tribute to Damo Suzuki by putting this out as a free download in the hope that you will join us in celebrating this amazing human being as he journeys elsewhere. We are so proud of these recordings. The tour never ends.

radio massacre international's sound defies categorization it is more magical than musical. the music is, first and foremost, improvisational. it is loose in structure but also searching. r.m,i. is all about generating the happy accidents that occur at the ever-changing intersection of multiple moving bodies. when two sequences converge fascinating things happen opening rhythmic and textural options that just moments before were closed to view. it is the creation and exploration of those options that dominates what r.m,i. does in its music.
